Tabletop Christmas TreesTrees that fit anywhereWe don't all have room for big Christmas trees - a "traditional" Christmas tree, whether real or artificial. We also may want more than one tree, and quite honestly, several big ones take too much space usually - and cost a lot. Tabletop Christmas Trees are simply small Christmas trees that can fit anywhere. They come in a variety of styles ranging from a real yet short tree, say 3 or 4 1/2 feet, a live bonsai tree, a ceramic lit up tree, and much more. The most popular are artificial trees, usually 3 feet high
and heights vary. Traditional green is popular as is white,
silver, red, and much more. They come both pre-lit, meaning no
need to add lights, they're already there, and ones where you
add the lights yourself. Of course you can also add any other
decorations you would like too. I like this
3 foot
Green Monroe Pine. It's very authentic looking, comes in one
piece for easy use and storage (and no pesky little parts to
lose) and easy to add lots of festive trim and Christmas
ornaments. For those of us who prefer an authentic looking tree, but don't want to deal with the inconvenience of a natural tree, this one is a winner. A similar choice in a slightly larger tree, perhaps too tall for some but perfect for others, is this 4.5 foot Blue Monroe Pine. It's another artificial tree that looks like a natural tree.
I thought it was one of the most fascinating and strangest things I'd ever seen, and my sister agreed. Natural looking it was not! This 4 1/2 Foot Silver Artificial Tree is similar. Yes, retro is in. It's iridescent design shimmers and gives a great effect! This tree is not for my house or office, but I'm so psyched they are available again! I hadn't seen one in decades. It's very popular and perfect for some folks. Every time I see one I smile!
The "ready to use" part is very appealing to many people, especially when your time is limited or in a setting like an office where you have other responsibilities. Still, my daughters would add some of their own decorations. Many people have more than one tree, with tabletop trees complementing their main tree. For example we always had a small tabletop tree for our son. It was "his" tree whereas the big tree was everyone's. He loved having his own tree, which is now the children's tree as we have 3 kids now, and they love having their own special tree. I'm considering a small tabletop Christmas Tree in the office this year. My office is quite small, but I like the idea of a little Christmas cheer there. End of year is usually pretty busy for me so I spend a lot of time there up until late December. A small artificial tabletop takes little room, basically no upkeep/maintenance, and does need watering or shed. Perfect for my and maybe your office! One of the most popular uses for tabletop Christmas trees is for people in somewhat crowded quarters, for example apartments. There is no way most apartments can reasonably have a full sized tree. I had one apartment that barely fit me, never mind a tree :) Smaller trees are perfect in these environments, whether you have them on a table or not! Also check out this assortment of ornaments. I didn't know they came in so many types, sizes, and shapes! |
